Adam Warren, CEO / Co-Founder

Adam Warren is CEO and Co-Founder of OpenJar Concepts (“OJC”) and their legal services division, The Sentinel Group. Adam has over 22 years of experience in advertising, entertainment, production, multi-channel media distribution, and client management. Starting OpenJar Concepts, Inc., nearly 13 years ago with partner Reno Renaldo, Adam has made a career out of integrity, relationships, and relentless determination. OJC has numerous areas of marketing success and has created an infrastructure based upon its proprietary technology, TrafTrack®.  OJC has a robust and registered trademark branded campaign library and experience in verticals ranging from Mass Tort to Single Event, Health and Life Insurance, and many others. Over the last several years, Adam’s expertise has been called upon regularly for speaking engagements ranging from digital marketing conferences to various Mass Tort and other legal conferences.  Adam frequently contributes to marketing blogs on major Mass Tort websites, is a guest lecturer at universities, and has co-authored chapters in various legal and marketing books.  Additionally, Adam has contributed to interviews and podcasts regarding legal marketing and key strategies to reach the market of the most respected lawyers in the country.

Over the last four years, Adam has been leading the charge of OpenJar’s creative services expansion, building out a portfolio of work and comprehensive offerings that ranges from billboard, print, and social media design to Radio and TV commercial production. While OJC has produced 100s of national and local ads, the company has developed the capacity to create Hollywood-style productions with innovative Madison Avenue concepts.  OJC has quickly become a force in creative services, winning four different Golden Gavel awards with nearly a dozen nominations in various legal marketing categories.  OJC won two awards for BEST RADIO:60, one for BEST MULTI-MEDIA CAMPAIGN, and one for Best TV:60.  Adam has also innovated additional offerings from OJC, expanding into brand identity projects,  which include logos, a brand refresh, brochures, web banners, social media management, and conference booth design. 

Prior to OJC, Adam helped build an unwired media network for a California-based firm focused on performance-driven calls in TV, bridging relationships with more than 1000 media outlets.  Adam has worked with various media types to develop a deep understanding of multi-channel distribution thus enabling alternative channels of reach such as Spanish TV and Radio, International Media, Mobile Marketing, Online, VOD, and other interactive platforms.

Adam has worked extensively with many Long and Short Form advertisers, from a pure DR perspective to Hybrid Brand/DR and pure brand as well. Adam’s advertising career started in national advertising sales where he developed the first D2C group of TeleRep – Los Angeles, a television ad sales rep firm. Over a 3 year period, he cultivated relationships with a vast network of broadcast affiliates from major network brands including CBS, FOX, CW, ABC, NBC, Independents, and others. Many of these stations included several top 10 DMA broadcast affiliates which generated DRTV group sales of an average of $32MM annually. Additionally, Adam consulted with other offices around the country, within all levels of management, as well as COX Corporate Marketing and new business development managers on D2C operations.

In 2003, Adam worked with the Direct Marketers Advertising Community in LA, whose core focus was to network and exchange ideas among the Direct Response marketers throughout Southern California. He served on the Board of Directors as VP of the organization through 2005.

FUN FACTS:

Adam cut his teeth in film as an award-winning feature filmmaker for the cult comedy RHINOS, with 2 documentaries currently represented by Echelon Entertainment Studios for Domestic & International Distribution and additional projects in consideration for production.

Adam is experienced in working with private equity sponsored entities and played a key role in brokering the relationship between RBC Daniels and a CPA Network venture, leading them to a VC infusion of substantial capital by Carlyle & HIG.

Adam completed and began self-publishing his first children’s book, A BEAR WITH PANTS in late 2017. Since then, his book has won awards such as 2019 BOOK OF THE YEAR, garnered TV and PodCast media attention as well as received several accolades from social media book critics. Adam has appeared on numerous TV broadcasts featuring his book.  He plans to create a series of original books with a starting point on lessons dealing with and preventing childhood bullying.

A fitness enthusiast and former personal trainer for 9 years, Adam likes to get to the gym for 90-minute workouts five to seven days per week and has run multiple half marathons, several obstacle course-based races, competed as a bodybuilder as well as ran the Vale Ranch Spartan Beast 2014, in 106-degree weather! He is a family man with a wife, Megan, and 2 precious young girls.  Adam’s favorite late-night TV and during his travels is the Food Network or the Cooking Channel. Nothing relaxes Adam more than a little Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives.
